Country Songs for your 1st Wedding Dance

It's no secret, Hubby and I are big Country Music fans.  We got married in Maui, Hawaii, a very small wedding so we didn't actually have our big Wedding Dance Moment.  Which is sort of a bummer with me being a Professional Dancer and all, it would seem a no brainer that I would have an awesome wedding dance, but I didn't. =(

However,  before Hubby and I choose to have a small wedding on Maui we had been making plans for a bigger wedding and discussed "our song"  I personally wanted a compilation of

At Last by Etta James
When You Say Nothing At All by Allison Krauss
& Forever & Ever Amen by Randy Travis

Hubby felt that Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts was the song for us.

I agree Bless the Broken Road fits our story better, but I loved the sediment and feeling behind my choice.  Maybe this is why we ended up going with a small wedding, so we wouldn't kill each other over insignifigant details! =)

Here is a list of 10 Country Songs (with the corresponding dance style) that are a top pick for Wedding Dances: (in no particular order)

1. Bless the Broken Road- Rascal Flatts (Social Slow)
2. Forever & Ever-Randy Travis (Country 2 Step)
3. I Cross My Heart- George Strait (Night Club 2 Step)
4. From This Moment- Shania Twain (Night Club 2 Step)
5. When I Say I Do- Clint Black & Lisa Hartman Black (Waltz)
6. Your Love Amazes Me-John Berry (Rumba/NC 2 Step)
7. You & I- Eddie Rabbit & Crystal Gayle (Rumba)
8. When You Say Nothing At All-Alison Krauss & Kieth Whitley version (Night Club 2 Step)
9. Amazed-Lonestar (Night Club 2 Step)
10.From Here to Eternity (Night Club 2 Step)
